Activated Charcoal

Activated charcoal is often considered an essential addition to any terrarium setup. 

The incredibly high surface area of these carbon tubes gives it an amazing filtration power that absorbs harmful chemicals and toxins that are taken in by water and from rotting roots and plants.

Please note the charcoal/carbon may arrive either in tube form or in a finer, granular form. Both perform the same function.

• Less charcoal is required to be used to cover an appropriate area.
