Baby Bee Necklace Gold Plate
Alex Monroe’s first collection was in 1987 and now his jewellery is synonymous with a very British sense of style. It is feminine, delicate, nostalgic and quirky, but above all consistently wearable. Alex grew up in the Suffolk countryside, and his love for the natural world and its enchanting beauty and intricacy yet lightness of touch are translated into all of his jewellery, of which every piece is individually designed and handmade in England by Alex and his team.
This is a slightly smaller and lighter “baby” version of the iconic Bee necklace and would be a beautiful accompaniment to the original necklace (as a mother and child nod) and bracelet, or perfect as a standalone piece.
The necklace is made of 22ct gold plate. The bee measures 2.5 x 1.4cm and comes on an adjustable chain, which can be worn at either 16 or 18 inches.
