Skirtings – Buff
Victorian geometric floor tiles have been used in interiors for decades and are still just as popular today, especially for those renovating period properties.
Original Style’s collection began in 1990 and since then we have developed an extensive range of shapes, colours and hand-crafted decorated tiles that are created in Original Style’s factory in Devon, England.
Original Style Victorian floor tiles are unglazed and although they are classified as vitrified we recommend that they are impregnated. Internal use: An impregnator may be used to protect against permanent staining. Special care must be taken not to apply more than the tiles can absorb and any excess must be removed. The installation should then be sealed with a wax or acrylic surface coating to make cleaning easier. External use: For outside installation, use a UV resistant impregnator to protect against permanent staining. Special care must be taken not to apply more than the tiles can absorb and any excess must be removed. Full sealing and cleaning recommendations (including sealers and impregnating products available in your country) are given in the Victorian Floor Tiles Fixing Guide
